PART I

PROBLEMANG NA-ENCOUNTERED SA USB FLASH DRIVE:

0 BYTES – firmware problem.
UNABLE TO FORMAT – firmware problem.
WRITE-PROTECT – firmware problem.
USB NOT RECOGNIZED – IC, memory chip and oscillator/crystal problem. Kapag ganito na ang sira hindi na marerepair
DEADSET – IC, memory chip and oscillator/crystal problem. Kapag ganito na ang sira hindi na marerepair back to manufacturer na para di ma-void ang warranty.
USB FLASH DRIVE OVERHEAT – IC, memory chip, and oscillator/crystal. Kapag ganito na ang sira hindi na marerepair

Tested na ito lalo sa mga USB Flashdrive na write-protected..



Pretest User Manual
V 1.0


Step 1: Plug in the device to the USB port of a desktop / laptop Computer

Step 2: Make sure the name shown in “Device manager” => “Disk drives” is in
“swbn.inf” file. If not, Please add it in


Step 3: Double click “Preformat.exe” file to begin.
( You will see the main screen as shown below)


Step 4: Select you’re choice (type) of Formatting.

Full formatting Normal Windows Formatting
Quick Formatting Normal Windows quick format
Low level formatting Quick formatting device with firmware
(Quick) (try to restore default values)
Low Level Formatting Full formatting device with firmware
(Full) (try to restore default values)

NB: “full formatting” & “Quick formatting” uses the window's normal formatting
Command , so the formatting screen shown will be a little different between
Different window operating systems.


Low Level Formatting



PS: (1) When “Low Level Formatting” is selected, formatting will start automatically
When press “ OK”.

(2) LED light on the device will continue flashing during this process
(3) Wait till led stop Flashing and dimmed , as well as the formatting has
Completed successfully message show up before removing the device
From USB port.
